A belated happy birthday

Just want to wish a belated happy birthday to my nephew Clint - wow - 35 already - where has the time gone? I was just 35 yesterday I know.

And also to my little sister (you know - the spoiled rotten one and it's all us girls fault).
Here are a few pictures of her over the years.

She has gone from this cute little girl in 1970 (can you believe she's 12 in that picture):

To this ornery senior in high school:

To a fantastic Gra-Ma:

I miss the days when we all lived closer and got to spend more time together - now we are so strung out across the country, it makes it hard to put in that quality time. I love you both and have a lot of good and a few not so good memories of both of you but through all the ups and downs, we're still family and that is important. I hope your birthdays were great and that both of you have many many many more.

Love ya.

Well, the only reason I remembered it is I'm in the process of scanning pictures from your photo album so that I can get the original to you so you'll have all your pictures. That is turning out to be a much bigger process than I thought - just need to make myself get into my computer every day and work on it. Either that or move my home computer out here by me so I can scan pictures in between moments of work.

Thanks aunt lvh, i have the fondest memories of many many many fantastic summer weeks spent visiting at your house and then living close enough to spend the night every time Blaine and I had the chance. Or nachos on fast sunday on the way home from church, yummmy. 35 is old isn't it. My field supervisor, this crazy woman that is in her late 50's but still climbs inside the playground pipes at McDonalds, says that "growing old is inevitable but growing up is an option."

love you,
clint

Weren't we beautiful alex's human? Can't believe so much time has passed. Thanks for remembering us. I had forgotten how OLD hayduke was until I realized how ANCIENT I am getting. But then againg, age is simply a state of mind, and as I seem to be losing mine I must be getting younger.....
